Privacy Policy for Our Users
The purpose of the EU Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, General Data Protection Regulation) is to improve the protection of personal data and the rights of data subjects, to bring transparency to the collection and use of personal data, and to emphasize the individual’s rights to their own data.
The user has the right to:
- get access to their own data
- correct the data,
- be forgotten,
- transfer data from the system,
- oppose automatic profiling,
- prohibit the use of their data for marketing purposes,
- receive notification of personal data breach,
- appeal to the supervisory authority
As a guiding principle, Kaleva has the legitimacy, fairness and transparency of the processing of the personal data. In practice this means:
- Personal data shall only be processed in those cases, where there is a legitimate ground for processing
- The data shall be used only for the purposes for which they were collected
- Only the information necessary for each purpose is collected and stored
- The accuracy and rightfulness of the information is ensured
- Personal data is treated confidentially
- Personal data may be transferred to third parties for the purpose of carrying out the processing of personal data when ordered by the group’s company
- Personal data may be disclosed to third parties for the purpose of complying the official regulations or for the benefit of the group’s company
